When Thomas Cook went out of business in 2019, its German sister brand Condor, backed by the German government, continued to operate. Having helped develop the original Thomas Cook Airlines site, we were selected as a trusted partner for the UX, design and build.
Working smart and fast
As the site needed to include some of the same functionality as the Thomas Cook Airlines site (searching for and booking flights, and managing the details of bookings), we were able to apply some of our previous learnings. We adopted the same methodology, framework and tech to keep the process lean and make rapid progress.
Watch this space
A three-person UX and design team had been working for two months before the COVID-19 pandemic led to a change of business priorities. Unfortunately, the project has been put on hold, but we can’t wait until the time is right to get back to work with the Condor team.
